John Edward Ahearn, Jr. (Jack), a White Plains resident died February 10, 2006, he was 75. He was born April 20, 1930 in NYC to the late John E. Sr. and Alice P. Kennedy Ahearn. Jack was a graduate of Bishop Loughlin HS in Brooklyn.
He served in the US Army in the communications corps in Germany. He married Alice M. Foran on August 8, 1959 in New York. Mr. Ahearn was a District Operation Manager (Northeast District) for AT&T. He retired after 42 years of service. He was a parishioner of St. Bernard's Church in White Plains. Jack was a member of the White Plains Chapter of the Veterans of Foreign War and a New York Giants season ticket holder for 50 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children; John J. Ahearn, of Somers, Patricia A. DiBiasi, of White Plains, William M. Ahearn, of White Plains, Alice M. Sciullo, of Somers, a brother, Joseph Ahearn, of Briarcliff Manor and his sisters, Patricia Holahan of Elmhurst, NY, Kathleen Harnig, of Glenrock, NJ and Grace Connors, of Orlando, FL. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Kenneth J. Ahearn and a brother, James Ahearn.
