Brillion – The body of Geo. Wirtz, 75, who died of a heart attack at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Louis Raab, at Deerbrook Thursday, was brought to Brillion for the funeral Monday. The services were held from the Luecker Funeral home and at 9 o’clock from St. Mary’s church. The Rev. M. J. Kraus officiated and burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic cemetery.
Mr. Wirtz was born in Fond du Lac county. After his marriage to Miss Katherine Ditter, the couple lived at Brillion until 1920 when they moved to Antigo. His wife preceded him in death at number of years ago.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Louis Raab, Deerbrook, and Mrs. Theodore Hammergren St. Paul, Minn,.; two sons, Harry, Deerbrook and Edward, Manitowoc, three brothers, Frank, Fond du Lac, John, St. Peter, and Jacob, Montana; two sisters, Mrs. George Fischer and Mrs. Mary Kaufman, both of Fond du Lac, and eight grandchildren.
