Paul D. Worthington, 67, of 2733 S. 49th, Kansas City, Kansas, died Wednesday at Providence-St. Margaret Health Center. He was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Worthington was a paper cutter for Stuart Hall Inc. 24 years before he retired in 1978. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Turner First Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lucille Worthington of the home; two sons, Dee Lee Worthington and Stephen P. Worthington of Kansas City, Kansas; four brothers, David Worthington, Phoenix, Ariz., and Everett Worthington, the Rev. Clarence Worthington and Alvin Worthington of Kansas City, Kansas; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Blunt, Kansas City, Kansas; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Maple Hill Chapel; burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel.
