Anna married first to John Justice on 11 September 1867 in Laclede County, Missouri

Anna married second to Daniel David Slane on 22 March 1872 in Stone County, Missouri. Daniel & Anna were the parents of six children. Anna and at least two of her sons moved to Madison County, Arkansas.

Daniel David Slane died in 1885 and is buried in Rice Cemetery in Stone County, Missouri. Information shows that their son, Daniel David Slane, Jr., was a tombstone maker and made tombstones for both his father and mother. Anna's tombstone is inscribed with a detailed "tree of life" and reads "Where The Tree of Life is Blooming, Meet Me There".
