Chester A Campbell
Chester Arthur Campbell, 62, of 1010 Paris Avenue, retired machinist for the Nashville, Chattanooga & St.Louis Railway, died of cancer yesterday at the Joe Werthan Rest Home, 1114 Nineteenth Avenue S.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2707 Gallatin Road, John L Rainey will officiate. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.

A native of Marion County, Mr Campbell was the son of O.G. Campbell and Mary Greer Campbell. He came to Nashville while a young boy. He married the former Miss Etta Burnette July 25, 1914. She survives. Mr Campbell retired from Nashville, Chattanooga & St.Louis Railway three years ago.

Survivors, in addition to his widow, include a daughter Mrs. W.S. Bumgardner of Nashville; four sisters, Miss Alice Campbell, Mrs. Fannie Mackie, and Mrs. Icie Potts, all of Nashville, and Mrs. Doris Brickmman of Washington, D.C.. two brothers, W.F. Campbell and L.W. Campbell, both of Nashville, two grandchildren.
