E. Olive Rice, 84, of Benton Ark., died Thursday at the Benton Service Center in Benton.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Ballard Funeral Home Chapel in Benton and at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Butler-Volland Funeral Home Chapel in Hastings. The Revs. Robert M. Mays and James Clarke will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
Mrs. Rice was born in Avalon, Mo., Jan. 25, 1903. She graduated from Hastings Senior High School in 1921 and Hastings College in 1925. A teacher and homemaker, she married Albert Rice.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Benton.
Albert and Olive have one daughter, Janice Leech, North Platte who is deceased and one surviving son, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
