Jewel Fay passed into the arms of the Lord on June 25, 2011 at the age of 99. She was born in Moorewood, Oklahoma on November 29, 1911 to Calvin and Olive Archer and was the 5th of 10 children. She married Ernest E. Enyart on December 22, 1928 and lived in western Oklahoma until 1940 when the couple moved to southern Texas. They settled in Alice in 1959.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, Steve, Jimmy and Danny and three daughters, Ernestine, Sandra and Sharon.

She is survived by daughters Ann Fenters of Alice and Nancy Schott and her husband, Dale of San Antonio and one sister, Lucille Martini of Madison, Alabama. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled on Tuesday, June 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Holmgreen Mortuary.

A graveside service will be performed on Wednesday, June 29, at 10:00 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Alice
