Mr. and Mrs. Roy Abner Hockensmith have announced the approaching marriage of their daughter, Marian, to Mr. Peter Holden Young, of Los Angeles, Calif. The wedding will take place on Saturday evening, Oct. 25, at 8 o'clock at the Church of the Redeemer in Okmulgee. Miss Hockensmith is a graduate of the Okmulgee high school and spent one year at the University of Missouri. At the university she became affiliated with the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and during the second semester she was honored with election as "Queen of the Engineers." Mr. Young is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter M. Young of Los Angeles. He was formerly a student at the University of Missouri, having met his fiancee during his last year there. He is a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. After a honeymoon trip to Honolulu, the couple will make their home in Los Angeles.
