Graveside services for Bertie Mae Smith of Brookhaven are 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Easthaven Cemetery
Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m., at Brookhaven Funeral Home.Mrs. Smith, 90, died Feb. 23, 2003, at Silver Cross Nursing Home.
She was born in Lincoln County on May 1, 1912, to Den Pennington and Savanna Ainsworth Pennington.
She was retired from Stahl-Urban Company. She was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Barney Smith; a son, Charles Johnson; a daughter, Faye Wilson; her brothers; and her sisters
Survivors are her son, Donnie Johnson of Houma, La.; her daughter, Carolyn Smith of Wesson; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
