Veda Rhea Terry died Sunday evening, June 26, 2011, at her residence.
She was born on May 10, 1915, to Lawrence Sullivan and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Pippin Lennon in the County Line community.
She married Cornell "Tooter" Terry on Aug. 19, 1939.
Mrs. Terry was a school teacher. She taught in the Rains County and Point school systems for many years. She was a member of Emory Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Linda Terry of Emory; two granddaughters Anna Marie Terry of Memphis, Tenn., and Laura Anne Terry of White River Junction, Vt.; three nephews, Johnny Lennon of Brashear, Rex Lennon of the County Line community and Dale Terry of McKinney; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Tommy Frank Terry and Lawerence Terry; and one brother.
