Wiley Ash, Sr., 67, independent oil producer and entrepreneur and Payless Homes partner died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002, at his home in Haysville. Service 2 p.m. Saturday, Smith Mortuary, Derby. There will be no visitation and casket will be closed. Burial will follow in Dunlap Cemetery, Rose Hill.
Wiley was born July 10, 1935 to James Bert and Irlean (Newsom) Ash. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Teri Lynn Ash, brothers, J. B. Jr., David, Don, and Gene, identical twin brother Will; sisters, Margie Keneipp and Joyce Norris.
Survivors: wife, Karen; sons Cody of Haysville, Wiley, Jr. of Wichita, William of Andover, Vance, J. B., both of Rose Hill, Jerry of Fort Worth; stepson, Shane Meeks, stepdaughter, April Rexroat, both of Wichita; 19 grandchildren. Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S.
