Indian Wars Medal of Honor recipient. Served as a Private in Company G, 1st United States Regular Cavalry. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at Chiricahua Mountains, Arizona on October 20, 1869. His citation simply reads “Gallantry in Action.” His Medal was awarded to him on February 14, 1879.
