Jean graduated from Washington High School in Portland, Oregon in 1938 and attended Oregon State College in Corvallis. She married Ernest M. Jensen in January 1944 in Portland. He preceded her in death in 2006.
Jean was a Homemaker and enjoyed walking on the beach and crafts.
Surviving are her son Richard (Karen) Jensen of Port Orchard; grandchildren Kathy (John Panzer) Jensen of Mountain View, California, Eric (Tina Mitchell) Jensen of Port Orchard, and Dennis (Tricia) Jensen of Tacoma; and great-grandchildren Ashley, Conner, Tavin, Sierra & Ella Jensen, and Michael Panzer. She was preceded in death by her brother Rollin Boles.
