Michael A. Fresolo of Millbury, a union carpenter, died Feb. 21 of injuries suffered in the fire at The Station nightclub in West Warwick, R. I. He was 32.


Born in Worcester, he had been a Millbury resident for many years and attended Millbury schools.

Mr. Fresolo worked as a union carpenter for Local 107 in Worcester for three years, and previously was employed as a roofer in the Millbury area.

He was an active member of Carpenters Union Local 107 in Worcester and was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan.

Mr. Fresolo is survived by his wife, Yvette (Christman); two daughters, Emily and Maria of Millbury; his parents, Rose A. (Gagliardi) of Millbury and Richard E. of Webster; his stepfather, Don M. Gazzangia of Millbury; a brother, Joseph M. of Millbury; a sister, Rhonda M. Girouard of Millbury; two stepbrothers, Craig and David Garibedian, both of Webster; two stepsisters, Candice Baniukiewicz and Tracy Garibedian, both of Webster; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy (Bowns) of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at at Millbury Federated Church, Millbury.

Burial will be in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Millbury.
