John Frank Conklin was the son of John Louis and Susan Conklin of Newark, New Jersey. He married Josephine Kelly on January 13, 1914. They proceeded to have, John Frank, William, Dorthy Marie, Teresa, Virginia, James Joseph, Bernice, Charles Lindy, Milton, and Tommy. At the time of John's death he was moving a piano for a lady - when he had a heart attack.
John was a loving and caring father. He worked many jobs to support his family. He was remembered fondly - being known for bringing bags of penny candy for the kids on pay day!
