Mrs. and Mrs. Charles Cummings of Warren were here to attend the funeral of Mr. Cummings' sister, Mrs. Emily Clark, and Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Tenney of Plymouth were also here to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Emily J. (Cummings) Clark, widow of the late Luther H. Clark, died in Hardwick, Vt., May 15, at the house of her daughter Sadie, (Mrs. R. B. Holton.) Mrs. Clark was a sufferer from bronchitis and asthma. Her age was 65 years, 6 months and eight days. Funeral services were held in the church here Wednesday, Rev. Dana Cotton of Rumney officiating. The remains were laid at rest in the family lot in the cemetery here. She leaves one sister, and two brothers besides seven children, five of them being present at her funeral.
