Older sister of Rodgers Jackson, she was born to Levie and Rosetta White-Jackson. She attended elementary school in Dallas and graduated from Booker T. Washington in 1929. She worked in various jobs and retired from the housekeeping department of Neiman Marcus store downtown Dallas .
She married her high school sweetheart, James Daniel Cash. To this union one son was born, Edwin Bernard Cash.
At an early age, she united with the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church which is now the Good Street Baptist Church. She was a faithful member until her health failed. She served as Secretary of the Mission Chorus since 1970, a member of the Sisterhood and Garden Club.
She was well known in the Prince Hall Masonic Family. She was a member of Earnestine Chapter #285, Order of Eastern Star; Daughter of Isis, Zakat Court #133 and Dal-Worth Golden Assembly #36.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her devoted son, Edwin; daughter-in-law, Maxine L. Cash; grand daughter, Sherrie Lynn Cash; sister, L.T. MORRIS; brother, RODGERS JACKSON; nieces, Ethlyn Cash and Brenda Cash Cooper; grand niece, Stephanie Cash; aunt ANNIE MUMPHREY; a host of other relatives and devoted friends.
