Abalos Anastacio Tacho Abalos, 71, of El Monte, Calif., formerly of Hurley, died May 3 and was buried May 10 at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif. He was born Nov. 13, 1923 to Juan and Isabel Abalos. Mr. Abalos was a World War II Seabee.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Abalos; his daughters, Cecilia and Theresa Abalos; his sons, David and Jackie Abalos; his brothers, Mike Abalos and his wife, Carmen of Hurley, Alfredo Abalos and his wife, Eva of Nebraska, Johnny Abalos, Edward Abalos and his wife, Cecilia of Silver City, and David Abalos of Las Vegas, N.M.; a sister, Socorro Carney and her husband, Joe of Deming; and many nephews and nieces.
