Elizabeth Christine Daniel was born Nov. 27, 1870 at Alexanderdale, Russia. She was married there to Jacob Sattler and they had 5 children with 3 of them preceding the mother in death. Mr. Sattler died in 1903.
She came to the United States in 1905 to Walla Walla, Washington. She was married in 1907 to John C. Schmidt. They had 3 children with 2 of them preceding the mother in death. In 1910 they moved to Delta, Colorado and in 1919 they moved to Norfolk. Mr. Schmidt died on Jan. 27, 1939. She was survived by 2 daughters, 1 son, 1 step daughter, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, 5 children.
