Memorial services will be held in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Taft at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 4 for longtime Taft resident Nettie Jane Webb, 91. Mrs. Webb was born in Bakersfield to West Side Pioneers Percy Hudson and Lourena Stubblefield Hudson on Oct. 22, 1907 and she passed away in Bakersfield on April 18, 1999. She was raised on Paleto Hill and had lived all her life on the West Side. Mrs. Webb was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Webb, a former Kern County Supervisor. He passed away in July 1995. Mrs. Webb is survived by her daughter and her husband, her son, her sister, her grandchildren and their spouses, her great grandchildren, and by several cousins, nieces and nephews. There are no visitation hours scheduled and the services are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
