Sgt. Allen R. Gano, son of Mr. and Mrs. Innes Gano of Dallas, entered the service on April 28, 1918 and was assigned to the 133rd Field Artillery. Transferred to the 352nd Aero Squadron and trained at Kelly Field. Was sent to Waco, Texas, then to Toronto, Canada, thence to Roosevelt Field, Mineola, L. I. He was seriously injured in a fall at Mineola, but recovered. Received his discharge in December 1919.
