Mary Belle Bublitz, 70, of Decatur died 12:21 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 17, 2000) in her home.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Trinity Church of the Nazarene.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are by Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton.
Mary was born in Champaign on Feb. 17, 1930, the daughter of John and Marie Rutledge Peters. She was a bartender at Julie's Tavern. She married Edwin Charles Bublitz on Nov. 19, 1978, in Decatur. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1997.
Surviving are her sons, John Ward and wife Nancy of Oakley; Claude Ward of Decatur; daughter, Robin Fellwock of Decatur; stepson, Steven Bublitz and wife Gladys of Decatur; sisters, Barb Ward and husband Oris of Champaign; Shirley Keist and husband Dean of Tennessee; grandchildren, Junior Lanham, Marcus Ward, Joann Ward, Mary Anderson, Ben Ward, Heath Wilson, Maegan Anderson, Dana Sincebaugh, Shawn Bublitz and Stephanie Bublitz; numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Sandi; and brother, John Peters.
