Elsie "Freda" Cain, 77, West View, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007. She was born one of 14 children to the late I. Bruce and Effie A. Swiger Edgell on Jan. 3, 1930, in Smithfield, W.Va. Freda was the beloved wife of the late Camden G. Cain; loving mother of Esther Accidentale and her husband, James, of Scott Township, Charles Cain and his wife, Linda, of Economy Borough, Bradley Cain and his wife, Sherry, of Milesburg, Terry Cain and his wife, Ruth, of McCandless, and the late Glen Cain. She is also survived by her cherished 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME INC., 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross (412-364-4444), where funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel. Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
