Louis Arthur Bones was the first of the Bones family to settle in the Antelope Valley in 1903. The Bones family began the "Bones Fruit Empire" in Littlerock, California where they grew pears, peaches and cherries. His first wife was Lura Primmer; 2nd wife was Florence Miller. Please note: Some family members have told me that his name was spelled "Lewis" and not "Louis" - others disagree, so I will leave it as it is on the headstone.
