Edgar was born in Montcalm, West Virginia; the son of Violet Rose and Leonard Lee Taylor.
Edgar is survived by his wife, son, grandsons, two brothers, one sister & all his extended family.
A simple graveside service was held for Edgar in the tradition of his wifes' faith, which he joined at the time of their marriage.

OBITUARY
.Edgar L. Taylor, 85, Kokomo, died at 8:48 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 at his residence.. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Father Phillip Lashbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery, with military honors provided by the U.S. Air Force and the VFW Military Rites Team..
