Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Stone Funeral Home for William H. Tilk,146 Washington St.,who died early today at Lockwood General Hospital, where he had been a patient for two weeks. Rev. Raymond Ensig will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
He was born at Waldenburg, Michigan on February 23, 1871. He married Fredrika Bulleau in rites at Petoskey on November 18,1897 and the couple made their home in Resort Township, and she preceded him in death in June 1958. Foe the past six years Mr. Tilk had resided with a daughter, Mrs. Mamie Kage.
Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Kage; a son, Harry of Resort township;seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, August of Saginaw, a sister, Mrs. Rika Schwark of Rochester,Michigan.
The body is at the Stone Funeral Home, where friends may call.
