Mr. Lacey was a salesman for 35 years with Ken Dixon Automotive.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge in White Plains, Charter Member of the Elks Lodge in Waldorf, MD, member of the American Legion in Avenue, MD.
He enjoyed dancing and playing cards especially poker and pitch.
Born April 28, 1931, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Thomas McGuire Lacey, Sr. and the late Margaret Mary Brown Lacey.
Predeceased by his parents; sisters, Ann Abell, Rita Wathen, Mary Lou Smith; infant daughter, Kathleen Irene Lacey; sister-in-law, Judy Lacey.
Survived by his daughters, Samantha Shelton, Suzanne Fields, Stephanie Holder, Debbie Lacey; brothers, Thomas M. Lacey, Jr. "Tucker" and his wife Joan; Richard Lacey; sister, Alice Marie Mirth and her husband Don of Melbourne, FL; raised like a sister, Catherine Smith Bassford; brother-in-laws, Kennedy Abel, Kenney Wathen, Clinton W. Smith; companion, Alice Newcomb. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 17, 2010, from 11AM to 12Noon at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 17, 2010, beginning at 12 Noon at Raymond Funeral Chapel.
Interment will take place at 2PM at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
