Harry I. Wilhelm

Harry I. Wilhelm was born in Rush River township on April 15, 1884, to Frank and Candace Rudesill Wilhelm and passed away on Jan. 3, in the River Falls City Hospital at the age of 84 years.

At the age of 17 years, Mr. Wilhelm moved to the River Falls area and farmed near River Falls until 1926. He was married to Mae Wilhelm on Oct. 1, 1907, and she preceded him in death in 1926. At this time he moved to River Falls where he was a cabinet maker and carpenter. He was united in marriage to Mirtie Kinney, July 2, 1938.

He is survived by his wife, Mirtie; two duaghters, Norma (Mrs. John. Kelly) of River Falls, and Ruth (Mrs. Darrel Cunningham) of Burbank, Calif.; one son, Harry Wilhelm of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.

Visitation was held at the Cashman - Segerstrom Mortuary on Sunday with funeral services on Monday, Jan. 6, at the United Methodist Church in River Falls at 2 p.m., Rev. Richard Truitt officiating. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery.
