Glenna Earline (Crutchfield) Andrews, age 78, of Herbine, went to be with her Lord Sunday night, June 5, 2011, two days before her 79th birthday. She passed away at Star City Nursing Center where she was convalescing from surgery after a hip fracture she sustained at home on May 20th. Prior to that, she had been lovingly cared for at home through her struggle with Parkinson's by her husband and family. She was also a multiple heart attack survivor.

Born June 7, 1932 at Herbine, AR, she was the eldest daughter of the late Samuel O. and Argine Stewart Crutchfield. She was also preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Glenna Marie Dennis; a grandson, Gregory Allen Turner; and a great-grandson, Austin Cole Andrews.

Glenna was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing, and working outdoors. She was a member of Bethel #2 Missionary Baptist Church, where in times past she taught children's classes.

Survivors are her husband of nearly 61 years, John Herbert Andrews, whom she married December 26, 1950; a son, Robert S. "Bob" Andrews and spouse Terry of Forrest City, AR; two daughters, Janie Turner and spouse Larry, and Joyce Henley and spouse Bobby, all of Herbine, AR; two sisters, Betty Drewery of Star City, AR, and Shirley Watson of Hot Springs, AR; half-sisters, step-sisters, a step-brother, ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 8, Frazer's Chapel with Bro. Wade Peddy officiating. Music was provided by Maranda Henley and Linda Barrett. Burial was in Prosperity Cemetery at Herbine, AR by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were grandsons Eric Andrews, Tony Andrews, Tyler Andrews, and great-grandsons Kyle Leopard, Ben Leopard, Bradley Brown, Christopher Nelson, William Byrne, and Gregory Scrivner.
