By 1910, her parents had moved to Warren County, Illinois, but they may have went to Iowa first, as it appears that Jessie was married in Iowa in about January of 1910 at the age of 18. She married Fred Nels Erickson who was born in Illinois but whose parents were immigrants from Sweden.
In the May 1910 census, Fred and Jessie were living in Franklin Township of Washington County, Iowa, where Fred was working as a farmhand and they had been married for 4 months.
