Mary M. Noonan
Classmates here were disheartened to learn this week of the death of Mary Margaret Noonan, who graduated from St. Martin's here with the class of 1940. She died of a lingering illness. Miss Noonan was one of God's chosen and went to His flock with all the blessings known to the famous biblical sayings.
Mary Margaret, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. Noonan, was born December 15, 1922 and expired July 28, 1941. Surviving besides the parents are her four brothers and two sisters: D.T., Robert, Loras, Patrick and Cecelia and Frances.
The remains were transferred from the Devaney Funeral home and the funeral services were conducted on Wednesday morning at nine o'clock at St. Patrick's church, North Garryowen with Rev. P. F. Malone officiating. Casket bearers were John Donnelly, James Kean, Thos. Bisenius, Bob Skahill, Cletus Connolly and Frank Fah.
