Eddie D. Parton, 63, resident of Muncie who moved to Los Angeles 13 years ago, died there Oct. 22. He was a disabled veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a son, James, Muncie; four daughters, Miss Betty Parton, Mrs. Nancy Robinson, Mrs. Lois Stephens, and Mrs. Marie Powell, all of Muncie; three brothers, Albert, Oscar, and Walter, all of Alabama; a sister, Addie Venable, Alabama; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Parson Mortuary with Rev. Gus McAdams officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.∼Eddie's father is George Parton ( memorial ID: 127896672 )
