W. A. CABLISH FUNERAL TO BE HELD TOMORROW
Services will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the residence for William Arthur Cablish, 74, retired, one of the founders of the Cablish Brothers, Inc., who died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday at his home, 411 Summers street.
Rev. Wallace M. Alston, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of which Mr. Cablish was a member, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Ernest Thompson. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Mr. Cablish had been in failing health for some time, but his condition did not become serious until last Friday.
He was born in Augusta, Kentucky, the son of John and Lena Traxel Cablish. He came to Charleston about 40 years ago and was one of the operators of the Cablish Brothers bakery until his retirement in 1927.
Surviving are a sister, Miss Marie L. Cablish, and a brother, Charles C. Cablish of 1901 Kanawha Avenue, S.E.
The body was removed to the Barlow funeral home.
