MULLINS - David Henry Harrelson, 56, of Route 2, Mullins, died at his home Friday morning after an illness of one year.
He was born in Marion County, son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Wesley Harrelson, was a retired farmer and a member of Macedonia Methodist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Drew Harrelson; five sons, Marvin Harrelson of Albuquerque, J. M. Harrelson, Douglas Harrelson, Jimmy Harrelson and Jerry Harrelson of Charleston, and Barry Harrelson of Jacksonville, NC; two daughters, Mrs. Hubert (Irene) Dimmery of Sumter, and Mrs. Guy (Evelyn) Norris of Columbia; five brothers, Rembert Harrelson, Munson Harrelson, Houston Harrelson, Hubert Harrelson and Palmer Harrelson, all of Mullins; two sisters, Mrs. B. F. Coleman of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and Mrs. Mamie Blanton of Mullins; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from Macedonia Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Fleetward Baker. Burial will be in Cedardale cemetery.
