Served in the 18th Anti-Tank Battery Royal Canadian Artillery during the second world war of 1939-45. He enlisted at Vancouver BC July 8th 1940 at age 23. He listed his occupation as "Steam Fitter" After the war he went to work at the B.C. Electric Company (BC Hydro after 1965) as a repair man. He retired in 1985. He died March 4th 1984 of a heart attack at age 67. He was buried in the Ft. Langley City Cemetery by the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
