He listed his occupation as "Steam Fitter" After the war he went to work at the B.C. Electric Company (BC Hydro after 1965) as a repair man. He retired in 1985. He died March 4th 1984 of a heart attack at age 67. He was buried in the Ft. Langley City Cemetery by the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
