Thomas H. Lay, 54 of 230 Kienle Dr., Piqua died at 9:35 pm Friday, July 1, 2011. He was born August 29, 1956 in Miami County to the late Henry and Pauline M. (Ewing) Lay.
Survivors include a sister Nancy A. Kaeck of Piqua; a niece Angela Kaeck of Piqua; a nephew John R. (Janice) Kaeck of Piqua; great nieces and nephews include Bradley Kaeck, Jennifer Kaeck, Trishia, Nick, Erin, Tessa; and dear friends Jeanine, Carol and the rest of his Koester Pavilion family.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law John R. Kaeck Sr.
Mr. Lay was a graduate of Piqua Central High School and employed at Koester Pavilion in their Dietary Department. He had attended St. Boniface Catholic Church and enjoyed music.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am Wednesday July 6, 2011 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with the Rev. Fr. Angelo C. Caserta officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
