Age 75 of Butler Twp., passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Jackson, MI son of the late George and Marion Brown. Mr. Brown was a retired engineer from General Motors with 39 years of service and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, the TOMS Club, was a former member of the Dayton Engineers Club, and served on the board of the Scioto Hills Camp. He was preceded in death by one sister Colleen Burgett. Richard is survived by his wife of 52 years Elizabeth L. Brown, one daughter Debra & husband Mark DePoyster of Englewood, 2 sons Dale & wife Paula Brown of Tacoma, WA, and Daryl & wife Lisa Brown of Tipp City, one brother Daniel Brown of MI, 7 grandchildren David and Elizabeth Brown, Jeremy, Jonathan, Jenna DePoyster, Dillon and Emma Brown.
