He served in the U.S. Merchant Marines on board merchant ships drying the second World War. After serving he was a contractor in Hesperia, CA
He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Lorraine Judkins. Surviving daughters are Patricia Roland of CA, Darleen Judkins of OR; Pat Hanson of CA and one son Tom Fitzsimmons of CA. Ten grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
