GENEVA ALINE GOSS BURWELL, 69, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, went to be with our Lord April 4, 2007. She was a lifelong Humble area resident and graduate of Humble High School, Class of 1955. Geneva was a ghost writer for columnist Jean Adams and author of much of Humble's History book "A History of the Humble Texas Area." She was a member of First Assembly of God Humble, and leader in the South Texas District Womens Ministries. She was an ordained minister with The Assembly of God Churches, and was a dynamic speaker and teacher. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Homer and Stella Goss, and her beloved brother, Sherman Goss. She is survived by her loving husband, Wilburn L. Burwell; much loved children, Gaelin Nichols and husband Kyle, son, Wade Burwell; cherished grandchildren, Adam Nichols, Ariel Nichols; sisters, Helen Smith and husband Mack, Pat Needham and husband Butch; and brother, Rodney Goss and wife June, as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2007, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 Old Humble Rd., with services held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, April 7, 2007, at First Assembly of God Church Humble, with Pastor Milton Pool and Rev. Jack Countryman officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
