Jimmie E. Brooks, 70, of Victoria, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003.
He was born April 4, 1933, in Beeville, to the late Floyd and Corienne Brooks. He served in the Korean conflict and was an ordained minister. He was a chaplain of Full Gospel businessmen meetings and worked as a jail minister. He was also a welder.
Survivors: wife, Jean Brooks; son, Jimmy Lee Brooks; sister, Betty Brooks Foil; and one grandson.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio. Memorial Funeral Home, San Antonio, 210-226-4071.
