Nelle Louise McMurry passed away on December 2, 2008. Nelle was born on April 2, 1930 in Water Valley, Mississippi to Luther Knox and Essie Mae (Hearn) Howell. Nelle was preceded in passing by her parents, brother William, and husband, Robert Dean McMurry. Nelle was very involved with her congregation at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or charity of choice. Visitation will be on Friday, December 5, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Service will be on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, 2738 Bitters Rd., San Antonio, TX 78217, at 11:00 a.m. Service will conclude.
