Chancey A. Carr, 91, former resident of Angleton passed away at Palestine Healthcare Center in Palestine, Texas.
Services were officiated with Rev. Carroll Grigsby and burial was with full military honors in the Houston National Cemetery.
He was born to Harry and Martha Bland Carr.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and Coast Guard specializing in electronics and enjoyed recalling those days with fondness.
Mr. Carr was the owner and operator of Carr Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Services in Angleton. He was a life member of Angleton Lodge 829 A. F. & A. M.
His wife, Jewell, preceded him in death, as did his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Ramona Case and Carolyn Root; two grandchildren and one great grandchildren; nieces and nephews Sandy Carr Carter, James J. Carr, Patricia Carr Earl, Butch Carr, Martha Cole; numerous cousins and friends.
