He was born to Harry and Martha Bland Carr.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and Coast Guard specializing in electronics and enjoyed recalling those days with fondness.
Mr. Carr was the owner and operator of Carr Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Services in Angleton. He was a life member of Angleton Lodge 829 A. F. & A. M.
His wife, Jewell, preceded him in death, as did his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Ramona Case and Carolyn Root; two grandchildren and one great grandchildren; nieces and nephews Sandy Carr Carter, James J. Carr, Patricia Carr Earl, Butch Carr, Martha Cole; numerous cousins and friends.
