Russell married Ethel Martha Vulhop on July 16, 1960 at Salem United Methodist Church in Newport, Campbell County, Kentucky.
Russell enjoyed spending time with his daughters and their families, constantly teasing and playing with his grandchildren.
He was the Owner/Operator of Covington Cabinet Company, Inc. After suffering complications from surgery for repair of a cerebral aneurysm, he finally retired in 1994.
Prior to his surgery, my dad enjoyed hunting and golfing. He loved gardening and spent numerous hours working in his yard. He was a great "throw together" cook, but would never write down his recipes.
Russell suffered daily from the complications of the cerebral aneurysm surgery, and from cardiac disease. He passed away suddenly on July 4, 2011.
