She was born on Monday, May 11, 1914 in Oklahoma to Thomas and Susan (Damron) Davenport.
Anna was raised in Texas and came to California in 1946 where she moved to Santa Maria and met her future husband, Sal Amaro. They were married on Saturday, December 20, 1947 and later adopted three children.
During her lifetime Estelle held many positions which included working as a beautician, managing the books for her husband's farm, working in a meat market and Kmart, and going back to school to earn her CNA license.
Anna was active in the community, belonging to DES, IDES, and the Elks' Traveleers, and was formerly a member of the Altrusa Club.
Mrs. Amaro is survived by two sons, Thomas Amaro and his wife, Natalie, of St. Vincent, AR., Anthony Amaro of Nipomo, CA., daughter, Susan Ballard, of Santa Maria, CA., grandchildren, Kimberly Amaro, Krystal Amaro, Christopher Ballard, Anthony Ballard, and Reno Amaro; great-grandchildren, Kevin Black, Caleb Brents, and Camryn Amaro, sister, Zelda Busey of AZ., brother-in-laws, Jack Runnels of Salinas, CA., and Larry Viegas and wife Annie Viegas of Santa Maria, her sister-in-law and Bingo buddy; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Sal Amaro, parents, Thomas Davenport and Susan Bennett, sister, Cleo.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Ballard, Anthony Ballard, Reno Amaro, John Viegas, Len Canning, Joe Reinartz, and Randy Gibbs.
