Pitkin - Funeral services for William Buxton Sr., 80, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29 in the Oak Hill Baptist Church.
The Rev. Grover Willis will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home in Oakdale.
Mr. Buxton died at 9:25 p.m. Monday in an Oakdale hospital.
Survivors are three sons, William Buxton, Jr., and Earl Buxton both of Pitkin, Poley Buxton of San Jose, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wyatt and Mrs. Sintha Cryer both of Pitkin and Mrs. Lois Emmet of Roswell, N.M.; one brother, Homer Buxton of Oakdale; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
