He was born Jan. 17, 1923 at Sanford, Kan. the son of John T. and Elzena Hendrixson Arnold. He was the youngest of six children. He was a resident of Oklahoma City. He was a Government Lab Worker for the University of California.
He was a product of Sanford and Larned schools. He served in the Army Air Corps in WW II with action in Europe and Africa.
On June 2, 1942 he married his high school sweetheart Donna Yates. She died in 1986. He then married Nina Risenhoover in Old Mexico in January, 1992. She survives.
He is also preceded in death by his parents; son, Stephen; daughter Janet Iozzi; brother, John Arnold; sisters, Margaret Eckert, Irene Reynolds and Vera Howell.
Survivors: wife, Nina; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Betty Arnold of Overbrook; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Fred Schulte of Austin, Texas; stepsons, Wade and Charles, stepdaughters, Theresa and Karen, all of Oklahoma; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Jean Arnold of Larned; 13 grandchildren; eitht great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
