Modesto Bee, The (CA) - February 26, 2006. Deceased Name: DENCY L. CARATTINI, Oct. 12, 1939 -- Feb. 22, 2006. Dency Lee Stout Carattini, 66, of Sacramento died Wednesday at Woods Retreat. Mrs. Carattini was a native of Upland. She lived in Sacramento three years, and previously in Modesto 39 years. She was a typesetter for 24 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dale Road, Modesto, until she moved to Sacramento.

She is survived by her children, Kay Brown of San Jose, John Carattini of Modesto, Michael Carattini of Florida and David Carattini of Arizona; three brothers; three sisters; and 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Martin Carattini. Visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Dale Road, Modesto. A funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church. The McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs, Modesto, in charge of arrangements.
