Mrs. Metz was born March 28, 1928, in Sharon to Jerome C. and Sara Elizabeth Black Faust. She was a 1946 graduate of Sharon High School. A secretary, Mrs. Metz began her employment at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp., ending her career at First United Methodist Church in Hubbard, from which she retired. She had a great love for animals, was an avid reader, and loved embroidery, playing cards and working crossword puzzles. Mrs. Metz was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hubbard. Her husband, Wilfred W. Metz, whom she married Aug. 22, 1953, survives. Mrs. Metz was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Vern Andrew Faust.
