Doug was the son of Charles and Doris Larsen and grew up in Maywood, Illinois attending Emerson Grade School and Proviso East High School.
Doug worked at Commonwealth Edison for more then 35 years, going from a lineman to a top executive. He is survived by his Mom (Doris, now deceased), brother, Paul, and his children, Wendy, Becky, Heide and John and an assortment of ex-wives. Never wanted to retire and only lasted a few weeks after he did, when he followed his beloved dog, Max. Maybe he can get some rest now.
