Millie Clark, 77, 392 Basalt, wife of George A. Clark, died Thursday at a local nursing home.

She was born Jan. 8, 1897, at Wilford, the daughter of William Allgood and Emma Birch Allgood. She attended schools at Wilford. At the age of 17 she married William Murray. They homesteaded a dry farm in the Bone area for a few years, then moved to Idaho Falls. He later passed away.

She married Ruben Arvin Swanson Jan. 11, 1927. They made their home in Idaho Falls until his death in 1943. She then married George A. Clark, May 1, 1944 and in 1958 their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and was active in Relief Society. She was a Visiting Teacher untiil illness prevented her activity.

She is survived by her husband and a son, Floyd Murray of Idaho Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Sharon) Gamet of Twin Falls and Mrs. Joe (Ruby) Moser of Idaho Falls, sister Mrs. Pearl Shelton of Idaho Falls; 13 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters and seven brothers.
